Terms of Service

These terms are maintained by the Pace Patrol team and govern your use of the app. By using Pace Patrol, you agree to them. This page is not legal advice.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pace Patrol.

2. Accounts and guest use

You can log rounds as a guest or with an account. Guests are limited to five rounds before sign-up is required. You are responsible for activity under your account, including any rounds you log.

3. Acceptable use

Log real rounds you actually played.
Do not submit spam, fake data, or attempt to game pace statistics.
Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, honeypots, or moderation systems.
Admins may remove rounds or accounts that violate these rules.

4. One round per day

To keep stats trustworthy, only one round per user per course per day is accepted. Duration is bounded to roughly one to six and a quarter hours.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the rounds you submit. By submitting a round, you grant Pace Patrol a non-exclusive license to display it in aggregated, de-identified course statistics.

6. Pace estimates are informational

Pace estimates are crowd-sourced averages. They are not guarantees of how a given round will play. Course conditions, weather, and group size all affect actual pace.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pace Patrol is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
